Become a Research Assistant at Urology Diagnostics
What you'll do

·  Sequencing Protocol Design: Test the latest sequencing library preparation methodologies and optimize protocols for targeted clinical sequencing assays

·  Assay Development: Work on development of new assay chemistries with the goal of minimizing cost and turnaround time while maintaining accuracy

·  Sample preparation: Develop novel methods for processing of human clinical samples


About you

·  You have a BA/BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or a related field, AND/OR 2 or more years of experience working in a laboratory utilizing molecular biology techniques AND/OR you are a current Molecular Biology graduate student looking to experience a career in a start up

·  Able to accurately document your work and effectively communicate progress in written and verbal form

·  You are familiar with next-generation sequencing protocols and operation of Illumina instruments

·  You are interested in working within an exciting startup company environment

·  Previous experience working with minimal supervision is a plus

·  Determined to optimize your experiments and produce quality work which can help in the clinical care of millions of patients
